This project was created to make people with NAFLD lead a healthy lifestyle. The target group of people who suffer most from this disease, i.e. adults over 50 years of age, was taken into account in the design.
Therefore, a graphic design and user interface was chosen that was appropriate for this type of person: large, easily recognisable buttons and a natural colour palette, very often associated with the health of the body.
Conclusion
It has been studied that the use of applications with gamification elements (scores, rankings, choice of avatars) increases patient engagement and increases adherence to therapy. the project will be tested on 50 patients at the polyclinic hospital of Palermo
